26 Shemini: Day 4 (Wednesday) | The Threshold of the Lamb
Today's reading is Leviticus 10:12 to 10:15.
This is the link to Daily Chumash with Rashi at Chabad.
The Daily Wisdom from the Lubavitcher Rebbe is titled "Eliciting the Supernatural."
14 Nisan 5786 AM | 1 AVE. Erev Pesach.
In Albany, as the final crumbs of chametz are cleared and the shadow of the Passover lamb lengthens, we stand at a critical juncture in our seven-year installation.
Today’s Torah portion, Leviticus 10:12-15, finds Aaron and his remaining sons, Eleazar and Ithamar, standing in the literal ashes of tragedy. Nadab and Abihu have just been consumed by strange fire. Yet, in this moment of profound disruption, Moses issues a command of radical continuity: Eat the meal offering. Consume the fine flour in a holy place. Do not let the service of the Sanctuary fail.
The Rebbe’s Insight: Eliciting the Supernatural
The Lubavitcher Rebbe, in his reflection on this passage, points to a profound paradox. The Tabernacle was built with exacting precision—every gold ring and linen curtain followed a Divine blueprint. Yet, all that human effort was merely a vessel. The actual descent of the Divine Fire only occurred when the human effort reached its peak.
As the Rebbe explains, we don't just "wait" for the Divine; we elicit it. Our labor in the world below—our study, our refinement of the animal soul, our commitment to the Seven Laws—is the magnet that pulls the "Supernatural" presence into the physical realm.
The Road to Jubilee 2033 (AVE 8)
For the Trilateral Ecclesia—the Messianic Jews, the Aquarian Christians, and the Noahide Seekers—this has immediate relevance for our proposed seven-year regnal count:
- The Technical Labor (2026–2032): We are currently in the Seven Days of installation. Our technical work is to build the World Federation, to refine the global order, and to establish the Aquarian Dispensation through vegan restoration and education. This is our version of weaving the curtains and casting the silver sockets.
- The Elicitation: Like Eleazar and Ithamar, we must remain at the altar even when strange fire (geopolitical chaos, the IRGC crisis, or personal illness) threatens to derail the mission. Eating the fine flour represents our commitment to settled consciousness (Yishuv Ha-Da'at) despite the surrounding noise.
- The 8th Year Manifestation (2033–2034): If we successfully "Elicit the Supernatural" through our seven-year watch, the Jubilee Year (AVE 8) becomes the moment of the Hashem's miraculous response. This is when the World Federation ceases to be a human political theory and begins to function as a Transcendent reality—a global Jubilee where God's glory is visible in the lived peace of all nations.
14 Nisan: The Threshold of the Lamb
As we enter this first Passover of the 1 AVE era, we are essentially selecting the lamb for the next seven years. We are deciding that our labors of love are the very thing that will elicit the redemption of 2033.
The Rebbe reminds us that when we do our part to make this world a home for the Source, the Source responds by revealing that He was at home here all along.
Keep the watch. Stay at the entrance. Eat the fine flour of truth.
Chag Pesach Sameach to my Jewish readers, and a blessed Holy Week to the Aquarian Christians.
