Prayers Before Torah Study

"My reading in the Torah and associated commentaries is my offering up of the morning sacrifice. Praying formally at the appropriate junctures, drinking my caffeine-free herbal tea, using all of my medications properly, and maintaining undivided attention is my burning of the incense. Commenting on this blog is my way of exploring and teaching the Noahide Law through a messianic vegan lens. Finally, I should and will begin to pray for Your blessing on the people at the close of each blog entry here on Torah with Jonathan."
